Above+Beyond, the independent creative agency, has announced a newly assembled leadership team, featuring both new hires and internal promotions. A significant addition to the team is BBDO's Dena Walker, who will take up the role of chief strategy officer later this summer. Walker brings an impressive track record, having held senior positions at BBDO Dublin, New York, and Worldwide over a span of fifteen years, most recently serving as the global strategy director.

In her new role at Above+Beyond, Walker will be responsible for leading strategy across existing clients and new businesses. Commenting on her new role, Walker said she's excited to join the agency at such a dynamic point in its history, looking forward to driving further growth for the business.

Joining Walker in the leadership team are Laura Graham, promoted to chief production officer, and Jonny Ray, who takes on the role of managing director. Both Graham and Ray have been instrumental in the agency's production and management capabilities. Graham, in her tenure since 2021, launched The Beyond Collective's integrated production and design studio, Collective Studios, and played a pivotal role in securing client wins including Netflix, Olivia Burton, and Hardy’s. Ray, who has led Above+Beyond's account management team for the past five years, will be responsible for day-to-day leadership and client management.

Above+Beyond CEO Zaid Al-Zaidy expressed his delight at the formation of the new leadership team, praising the promoted talent and welcoming Dena Walker, whose strategic expertise will be a valuable addition. Al-Zaidy is looking forward to seeing the new team elevate the agency to new heights.
