Adam&EveDDB, a top-tier advertising agency based in London, has made a noteworthy hire. Cannes Lions Grand Prix-winning creative team Charlotte Upton and Callum McDonald will be joining the firm from Auckland-based agency Colenso BBDO.
Upton and McDonald secured the coveted Grand Prix in Radio at this year's Cannes Lions for their 'Skinny "Phone It In"' campaign. Their work spans major international brands like Mars, WWF, and Spark.
Both will report to Adam&EveDDB's executive creative directors, Ant Nelson and Mike Sutherland, who expressed enthusiasm about the duo joining their team: “Charlotte & Callum are a force to be reckoned with. They’ve made some really interesting, different shaped work and we couldn’t be happier to have them at the agency."
McDonald humorously remarked that he’s following the same journey as his ancestors, albeit for a different purpose. Upton added they're excited to learn from the team at Adam&EveDDB, signaling eagerness to integrate into the London creative scene.
This hiring news comes shortly after the agency was selected by product design and tech firm SharkNinja for a new project, highlighting the agency’s ongoing momentum. Brokered by EssenceMediacom, the partnership aims to showcase SharkNinja’s range of home appliances in a series of idents for ITV’s flagship daytime show, "This Morning."
The hiring of Charlotte Upton and Callum McDonald is a significant coup for Adam&EveDDB. As talented creatives with an impressive track record, their addition to the agency is bound to spur creativity and bolster the agency’s reputation even further.
