Wunderman Thompson UK Appoints Chloe Grindle as Director

Wunderman Thompson UK is excited to announce the appointment of Chloe Grindle as their new Creative Director. Reporting directly to the UK Executive Creative Director, Tom Drew, Grindle will leverage her vast global and brand experience to enhance Wunderman Thompson's integrated services for global clients such as Avon and Costa Coffee.

Wunderman Thompson was awarded the global agency of record for the prominent coffee brand Costa Coffee in September last year, taking on strategic and creative responsibilities. The agency unveiled its inaugural campaign for the brand, 'Made a Little Better', this past April. The campaign introduces a new creative platform that focuses on the small joys, like a Costa coffee, that can enrich everyday life.

Wunderman Thompson also recently rolled out transformative work with Avon through 'Embrace your Power', a global brand platform and integrated campaign. This campaign applauds women embracing their full potential and brings a fresh approach to the 135-year-old brand.

Grindle transitions from Ogilvy UK, where she served as the Global Creative Director for Dove and Hellmann’s. While at Ogilvy, she headed the 'Change is Beautiful' campaign for Dove, the largest global relaunch in the brand's history, which debuted at last year's Super Bowl. She also led Hellmann’s smart jars campaign, using thermochromic jar labels to aid in preventing food waste.

Before her tenure at Ogilvy, Grindle spent six years at Droga5, Havas, and Publicis in New York, working on award-winning campaigns for brands like Citi, Keurig, and Rite Aid.

Steve Aldridge, Chief Creative Officer at Wunderman Thompson UK, expressed his delight at Grindle joining their dynamic and driven creative team. He praised her as a skilled creative leader with global and brand expertise and expressed confidence in her ability to elevate the agency's work with Avon and Costa Coffee.

Grindle expressed her excitement about joining Wunderman Thompson, citing the immense diversity of the agency's capabilities as a key attraction. She looks forward to exploring the creative potential of the iconic brands in Wunderman Thompson's portfolio.

Wunderman Thompson was named Global Integrated Network of the Year 2022 by Campaign, marking its sixth year holding an Agency of the Year title.
