Dentsu Creative UK has just announced a significant shake-up in its leadership team, naming Julie Chadwick and Guy Ainsworth as joint managing directors.
Chadwick and Ainsworth were promoted from their roles as managing partners at Dentsu's Manchester office. Both have a rich history with the agency, having led Manchester-based BJL before it was acquired by Dentsu in 2019.
Julie Chadwick will oversee social and PR, content, entertainment, and partnerships, while Guy Ainsworth will be responsible for integrated brand relationships at both the Dentsu Creative and group levels.

"Dentsu Creative is filled with the most talented, brilliant human beings, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to better support them," Chadwick said on her appointment. Ainsworth echoed these sentiments, expressing his excitement about working with the new leadership team.
Jessica Tamsedge, the UK chief executive of Dentsu Creative, praised the duo: "Having led our teams across Manchester and London, these two are beyond sharp on the work, protective of our people, and committed to our clients."
Chadwick joined BJL in 2015 to lead earned practice, and Ainsworth started at the firm as a graduate 15 years ago, focusing on client service and strategy.
Both Chadwick and Ainsworth are geared to steer Dentsu Creative UK into its next chapter, with Tamsedge optimistically stating, "This next chapter at Dentsu Creative is looking a whole lot brighter for having Guy and Julie at the helm."
With this new leadership team in place, Dentsu Creative UK seems poised for renewed growth and innovation, as it continues to strive for excellence in an ever-competitive market.
