idhl Group, one of the UK's fastest-growing digital agencies, has made a significant change in its leadership. Ben Wood, formerly a Vice President at Meta, has taken over as the company's new CEO.
Wood spent approximately seven years at Meta and its predecessor Facebook, where he most recently served as VP for agency in the EMEA region. His extensive background in scaling businesses and market understanding make him the ideal leader for idhl Group’s next phase.
The company founder, Dennis Engel, who will now serve as Group CEO, was vocal about his enthusiasm for Wood's arrival, stating: "Ben has a background in growing businesses to a significant scale and has a thorough understanding of the market. He is the ideal person to guide us into our next chapter."
Wood will focus on growing idhl's digital offerings, maintaining its rapid growth, and delivering excellent results for clients. "idhl is unparalleled in the quality, breadth, and scope of its digital offering," Wood said. "I can’t wait to contribute to the continued momentum of the business."
As Group CEO, Engel will continue to provide strategic guidance to Wood, working closely with him and the rest of the leadership team to maintain the company's upward trajectory.
The appointment comes with immediate effect and marks a promising new chapter for the idhl Group, which already employs over 400 staff and has nine agencies spread across five locations. With Wood at the helm, the agency is geared for further innovation and success.
