Google has jumped the gun, giving tech enthusiasts a sneak peek at the Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and Pixel Watch 2 ahead of the official "Made By Google" event slated for next month. While exact specifications and pricing details are yet to be disclosed, the move has undoubtedly stirred the tech world's curiosity.

Google's pre-announcement comes just before Apple's own product launch event. This is an intelligent play by Google to seize some of the spotlight, ensuring its products also remain in the public discourse amidst the Apple buzz.

In a teaser video released on YouTube, Google shows off the full-body 360 design of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. Additionally, the new devices are prominently featured at the top of Google's online store.

While many details are still under wraps, we can expect a comprehensive reveal on October 4 in NYC, where Google is likely to answer all pending questions regarding the new devices.

With Apple's event just around the corner, Google’s pre-event teaser is a well-timed strategic move to ensure it does not get overshadowed. However, the effectiveness of this strategy will be determined by how compelling the new devices are compared to their competitors. Mark your calendars for October 4th to learn more.
