Havas Secures Bid to Oversee Department for Education's New Campaign

Havas London partners with UK Government to launch a pioneering recruitment campaign for Early Years, aiding childcare reforms.

Havas London Wins UK Government’s Early Years Recruitment Campaign

Havas London clinched a major milestone, bagging the Department for Education's recruitment campaign for Early Years and Childcare workers. Their triumphant 90% score in the competitive pitching process with the Crown Commercial Service secured this pivotal contract, adding to their ongoing role as the creative and strategic lead for teacher recruitment under the Department for Education.

This win extends Havas's tenure after their retention in 2022, a result of the government's mandatory re-evaluation process every four years. Tasked with spearheading a groundbreaking recruitment campaign, Havas steps into action, coinciding with the launch of the UK government's comprehensive childcare reforms scheduled for 2024. These reforms aim to address the nation's escalating childcare demands.

The collaborative efforts of Havas, Red Havas, and Inviqa will bring forth an integrated approach. The campaign's launch in February 2024 will encompass TV, cinema, VOD, social media, OOH, and radio platforms.

James Fox, the CEO of Havas London, expressed pride in the agency's appointment. "Recognizing the vital role early years practitioners play in children's care and development, we are honored to lead this campaign. It's an opportunity to drive recruitment and bolster the roll-out of childcare reforms, ultimately supporting parents across the UK."
