macOS Sonoma

Apple has released macOS Sonoma, the latest version of its desktop operating system. Sonoma brings with it a number of new features, including iOS-like widgets and Game Mode.

Widgets have been a popular feature on iOS devices for many years, and now they're finally coming to the Mac. Widgets can be placed right on your desktop and allow you to quickly and easily access important information, such as the weather, calendar, news, and more.

To add a widget to your desktop, simply click the "+" button in the top right corner of the screen. This will open the widget gallery, where you can browse and select the widgets you want to add. Once you've selected a widget, click the "Add" button to place it on your desktop.

Widgets can be resized and rearranged to suit your needs. You can also stack widgets on top of each other to save space. To stack widgets, simply drag one widget on top of another.

Game Mode

Game Mode is another new feature in macOS Sonoma. Game Mode gives games top priority on your Mac's CPU and GPU, resulting in smoother and more consistent frame rates. Game Mode also reduces latency with wireless accessories, such as AirPods and game controllers.

To enable Game Mode, simply open the Control Center and click the "Game Mode" button. You can also enable Game Mode for specific games by clicking the "Game Mode" button in the game's settings menu.
