Independent agency Neverland has announced a significant addition to its leadership team. Lola Neves, previously the head of strategy at AMV BBDO, will be joining Neverland as its first Chief Strategy Officer, starting in late August.
Neves has had a decade-long successful tenure at AMV BBDO, during which she earned numerous awards, including two Grand Prix Lions and a Wood pencil for the 'Hope Reef' campaign for Sheba in 2022.
In her new role at Neverland, Neves will spearhead the agency's strategic initiatives and closely collaborate with its two founders, Jon Forsyth and Simon Massey. Her objective is to incorporate the agency's unique blend of brand and creative strategy into all client projects.
Commenting on her move to Neverland, Neves said, "For me, it's all about chemistry. Every single person I've met from Neverland I've clicked with straight away. They all have such a buzz about them, and I'm really excited to join the agency and get stuck in."
Neves initially joined AMV BBDO in 2014 as a strategist and steadily progressed to the position of head of strategy in 2021. Before AMV BBDO, she served as an account planner at JWT, now known as Wunderman Thompson.
Forsyth expressed his excitement over Neves' appointment, stating, "Lola is the final piece in our super seven talented line up. As a very bright and brilliant person, she will be an awesome part of the agency’s future."
