Mark Alldred, former marketing director at PepsiCo, is set to rejoin Premier Foods as senior director of marketing. Alldred will lead marketing for flavourings and seasonings, and foodservice categories.

Mark Alldred, the marketing director at PepsiCo, has decided to return to Premier Foods, taking on the role of senior director of marketing after a five-year tenure at the soft drink company.

Alldred's move signifies his return to the FMCG company, having left his previous role as brand director in 2018. He will now oversee the marketing for Premier Foods' flavourings and seasonings as well as its foodservice categories.

As part of the senior leadership team, Alldred will report directly to Yilmaz Erceyes, the chief marketing officer. During his previous five-year stint at Premier Foods from 2013 to 2018, Alldred managed key accounts including Bisto, Oxo, and Mr Kipling.

Regarding his transition, Alldred expressed gratitude for his time at PepsiCo and the exceptional individuals he had the opportunity to collaborate with and lead. He said, “After a fantastic 5 years at PepsiCo...it’s time for a new challenge. I’m also so proud of the work my teams delivered across the snacks business, growing effectiveness, sales and market share."

Alldred is eager to take on his new role at Premier Foods, stating, "I’ve now recently rejoined Premier Foods’ senior leadership team as marketing director for their flavourings and seasonings and foodservice categories. A fantastic, new, exciting challenge, team and long term vision to get stuck into.”

Alldred initially started at PepsiCo as head of strategic growth before being promoted to marketing director in late 2019, where he mainly worked within its snack business.
