Pulse Creative, the dedicated agency of News UK, crafted the campaign, which is highlighted by a witty 40-second video. This video encapsulates the exhilaration football fans experience when they remain plugged into talkSPORT through Amazon Alexa devices. The advert showcases several products from Amazon, including the Echo, Echo Show 10, and Echo Show 15, emphasizing their capabilities to stream live talkSPORT match commentaries and set reminders for impending matches.
Will Martin, the head of marketing at talkSPORT, emphasized the synergy of the collaboration. “This campaign embodies the merger of two iconic brands, illustrating the infectious enthusiasm of tuning into talkSPORT on Alexa. The advert encapsulates the spirit of talkSPORT, being playful and resonating with the fervor our audience feels for the Premier League's comeback,” he said.
The campaign, which aims squarely at British football aficionados, is set to be broadcasted until mid-October. The responsibility for media planning and buying lies with Pulse Media and Hello Yellow.
