In an effort to promote sustainable energy usage, Tesla has launched a new feature that allows owners with home solar and a Powerwall charger to charge their vehicles exclusively with excess solar energy. The setting, known as 'Charge on Solar,' is available to owners of newer Teslas (2021 and onwards) in the U.S. and Canada.
