Liverpool’s PR agency, This Generation Communications (TGC), is gearing up for a promising phase of growth, marking it with the addition of two pivotal hires.
Megan Walsh, with her rich seven-year track record in journalism and communications, assumes the Senior Account Director position. She will steer pivotal accounts, including Sedulo, Huyton Asphalt, Legacie Developments, and RWinvest. Reflecting on her move, Walsh expressed her enthusiasm for what lies ahead for TGC and her career trajectory within the firm.
On the other hand, Finbarr Quinn, with his expertise in marketing and event management, will head special projects and events. His role involves the orchestration of signature TGC events such as Football For Change and the Women’s Football Awards. Quinn is eager to dive into the forthcoming events and projects alongside his TGC colleagues.
The timing of their induction is strategic, as TGC looks forward to expanding its award-laden portfolio, including notable campaigns like The Oliver King Foundation, British LGBT Awards, and the National Ethnicity Awards.
TGC’s foundation traces back to the efforts of Daniel Hughes, a former Labour Party senior political advisor and Channel 4 PR officer. He remarked on the new additions, highlighting the firm's ambitious roadmap and the instrumental roles Megan and Finbarr will play in realizing those aspirations.
