Global brand experience and design agency Vault49 has announced the hiring of Charlie Hughes as the Strategy Director for its London-based studio.
Reporting directly to Meg Asaro, Vault49's Head of Strategy, and working closely with Jonny Bateman, the Creative Director in London, Hughes will play a critical role in leading client work across major accounts such as Guinness and PepsiCo.
Jonathan Kenyon, Co-Founder of Vault49, expressed his enthusiasm for this new phase of growth. “We've been investing in our strategy function, building a robust department with expertise in research, insights, brand, and creative strategy. Charlie’s background in strategic design and sustainable innovation is perfectly aligned with our clients' needs,” he said.
In addition to client work, Hughes is also expected to contribute positively to the unique studio culture that Vault49 has cultivated in London. His hiring follows a slew of recent appointments across Vault49's global studios.
In London, the agency has also welcomed Richard de Cazelet as Designer and Marina Garcia Salcedo as Junior Designer. Meanwhile, in New York, Chloe Sacrè has joined as Junior Strategist and Harry Shaw as Junior Designer.
With the appointment of Charlie Hughes, Vault49 aims to deepen its strategic capabilities and enhance its service offerings for key clients. As the agency continues to grow, the new hire reflects Vault49's commitment to bolstering its strategy function to meet evolving client demands.
