Warner Bros. Discovery and Sky Media Expand Ad Sales Partnership

Sky Media and Warner Bros. Discovery expand their partnership, incorporating Cartoon Network, Boomerang, and Cartoonito into their ad sales deal.

US media giant Warner Bros. Discovery has announced an expanded partnership with Sky Media, the advertising sales arm of Sky. From 1 July, the enhanced collaboration will include the addition of popular children's TV channels Cartoon Network, Boomerang, and Cartoonito to Sky Media's advertising portfolio.

The British company will become the exclusive sales house for Spot and On Demand advertising across Sky platforms. Additionally, Sky Media will sell sponsorship alongside Warner Bros. Discovery for Brands, the US company's advertising sales proposition.

Brett Aumuller, Managing Director of Sky Media, expressed excitement about expanding their relationship with Warner Bros. Discovery, emphasizing their commitment to providing audiences and advertisers with engaging content and platforms.

This latest development builds upon a long-standing successful ad sales partnership between the media giants, which began in 2002.

Katie Coteman, Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland Group Vice-President Head of Advertising and Partnerships, shared enthusiasm for the inclusion of their kids' content in Sky Media's advertising offerings. Coteman highlighted Cartoon Network, Boomerang, and Cartoonito as some of the most-loved children's channels in the UK & Ireland, noting that the partnership with Sky Media will create opportunities for connecting them with relevant brands.
