Independent creative agency Zulu Alpha Kilo has hired Emily Garvey as its first Head of Strategy in New York. Garvey joins from Johannes Leonardo, where she drove its new business streak over the past several years with key wins like Instagram Global, Oscar Mayer, HBO Max and Amazon Music.
In her new role, Garvey will be responsible for leading the agency's strategic thinking on all accounts, and will play a key role in helping Zulu Alpha Kilo continue to grow its business in New York.
Garvey is a highly respected strategist with a proven track record of success. She has worked with some of the world's leading brands, and her work has been recognized with numerous awards, including AdAge's Rebrand of the Year and Campaign US's Independent Agency of the Year.
Garvey is passionate about using strategy to create work that is both effective and creative. She is also a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion in the advertising industry.
