Omnicom Media Group (OMG) UK has named Kiran Bance as its new Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), effective immediately. With a wealth of experience in DEI strategy and implementation, Bance will lead efforts to foster inclusivity across OMG’s UK operations.
At her previous role in Macmillan Cancer Support, Bance spearheaded the creation of the organization's first-ever DEI strategy. Her expertise extends across various sectors, including media, finance, and charity. Notably, she played a pivotal role in developing DEI strategies at the Bank of England and ITN.
Laura Fenton, CEO of OMG UK, praised Bance as an engaging and collaborative DEI leader, highlighting her proven track record in driving positive change. Bance's appointment underscores OMG's commitment to championing diversity within the organization and the broader industry.
Reporting to Nicki Hare, OMG UK CMO, and Claire Douglas-Pennant, OMG UK Chief People Officer, Bance will work closely with leadership, employee resource groups, and partners to strengthen the agency's resolve in cultivating a more inclusive culture. With her strategic vision and experience, Bance is poised to make significant strides in advancing diversity and equity initiatives at Omnicom Media Group UK.
